Identification Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 146. The forewing is yellow. The only other markings are blackish brown dots representing the claviform, reniform, and sometimes orbicular spots, and blackish outer border. The hindwing is yellow with light grayish-brown outer shading. The caterpillar host plants are crabgrass and morning-glories.
