Identification: Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 329. The forewings are reddish brown. The outer margin is not wavy. There will be a conspicuous yellowish shading along the lines. The hindwings are yellowish with pale brownshading. The caterpillar host plants are blueberries, chestnut, hickory, oaks, and witch-hazel.
