Identification: Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 352. The wings are light powdery gray with heavy, dotted ante-median, post-median, sub-terminal, and terminal lines. The post-median line is the strongest. Look for a double row of black spots on the abdomen. The caterpillar host plants are poplar, spruce and willow.
