Identification: Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 168. The forewing and hindwing sub-terminal line is undulating and scalloped into a blackish-brown inner area and a dirty whitish outer area. The whitish areas are dusted with brown. The tops of the ante-median and post-median lines are whitish at the costa. The caterpillar food stuff is nannyberry.
