Identification: Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 161. The forewing is warm light brown, orange at base and along the outer margin. There will be four whitish spots inside the lower half of the post-median line, and fainter whittish spots beyond the sub-terminal line, near the apex. Antennae is bipectinate in both sexes. The hindwing is pale orangish, darker toward the outer margin. The caterpillar host plant is persimmon.
