Identification: Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 104. Similar to Lacinipolia implicata. The forewing is green, fading to whitish. The median area has no black between the basal and ante-median lines, and is wider at the inner margin, shaded with reddish-brown, with little or no black. The hindwing is mostly white in males, with narrow outer black shading, more black shading in females, but less than other similar species. The caterpillar host plant is an unidentified legume.
