Deidamia inscripta (Harr.)

Identification: Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 42. The forewing is narrow, with a deeply scalloped outer margin. The color is pale brown with darker brown markings. There will be a small black and white spot below the apex. The hindwing is orangish-brown with dark brown median line and outer border. The caterpillar host plants are grapes and Virginia creeper.
