Identification Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Pg. 137. The forewing is light yellow with three large violet-brown costal spots, and usually two small ones. The ante-median, median, and sub-terminal lines are often heavy and complete. The hind-wing is pale yellow with slightly darker lines. Caterpillar host plants are not recorded.
