Identification: Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 320. The forewing is yellow with deep pink band along the basal half of the costa. There is also pink beyond the straight post-median line. The yellow sub-terminal line is more distinct in the males than females. The hindwing is whitish to gray, often with pink shading toward the outer margin.
