Paratrea plebeja [Fabricius]

North America, Page 34. The forewing is gray. The blackish
post-median line is usually the most conspicuous line, but often
obscure. There will be a series of black dashes from base to
apex. The reniform spot is white and conspicuous. The hindwing
is gray with vague blackish median band and broad outer border.
The wingspan is 6 to 7.5 cm. The caterpillar host plants are
trumpet creeper, lilac, and passionflower.
