Identification Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 76. The Polka-Dot Wasp moth is also known as Oleander Caterpillar Moth. The wings are dark metallic blue with white spots. The body is metallic blue. The abdomen has a pair of white spots at the base, and red tip.
