Identification: Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 376. The wings are tan with reddish to brown lines and shading at the margins, if present. The ante-median lines are diffuse, sometimes absent. The post-median line curves outward except near the anal angle, sometimes the only line. The fringe is usually red. The caterpillar host plants are unrecorded.
