Silver-spotted Skipper Butterfly
Epargyreus clarus

The Silver-spotted Skipper is a small butterfly with a wing span about 2.4 inches. It has a large silver blotch on the underside of its hindwing, with gold spots on both sides of the forewings. The antennae is hooked. The preferred habitat of the Silver-spotted is woodlands, fields and gardens.
