Identification: Covel: Moths of Eastern North America, Page 61. The forewing is gray, thin yellow costal border merges into rounded patch near the apex. Another yellow line extends from the base of the forewing and ends in retangular pink patch on the inner margin near the anal angle. The hindwing is pink with a black border that is widest near the apex. The caterpillar host plants are lichens.
