Identification: Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 145. The body is small but the forewing is broad, as in some geometer moths. The forewing is pale yellowish to reddish-brown with a prominent white collar and band along the costa. The post-median line of forewing continues onto the hindwing. The caterpillar host plants are unrecorded.
