Caterpillar host plants are False Boneset and Joe-Pye Weed

Identification: The forewing is deep olive green to grayish. The median area is paler. There are three white lines on the forewing. The ante-median line sharply bends toward the outer wing margin (costa). The post-median and sub-terminal lines are almost straight. The hindwing is greenish-white with possible grayish-brown shading.

A similar moth is the Subflexus Straw that has three lines that are nearly straight across the forewing. Each line is edged with white on the basal side.
