Identification: Covell, Moths of Eastern United States, Page 43. The forewing is pale to dark brown, often with olive green shading. There will be darker brown ante-median and post-median bands, reniform spot, and patches at the anal angle. The hindwing is orange with small brown to greenish patch at the anal angle. Caterpillar host plants are viburnum, Virginia creeper, and grape.
