Identification: Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 321. The forewing is brown with 3 yellow lines (note darker brown edging beyond the meadian and post-median lines). The ante-median line reaches the apex. The orbicular and reniform spots are black. The hindwing is grayish-brown, darker along the outer margin. The caterpillar host plants are willow.
