Identification: Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 402. The wings are white with violet sheen. The forewing is marked with 6 blackish-brown lines and a prominent hollow reniform spot. Wingspread is 2.3-2.8 cm. The caterpillar host plants are unrecorded.
